Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel Staff Help Local Charity

It is, of course, the season to be jolly, and Christmas is one time of the year when you should be thinking of others and that is something that the employees at the Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel are great believers in.

That is why a team of their employees volunteered to give up a day and help serve food to local people down on their luck over at the St. Francis Diner in New Iberia, and with 100 people attending the free food service they were certainly kept busy throughout the day.

It is not the first time that casino employees have banded together to help local charities, in fact the director of public relations of the casino has said it is something they tend to do throughout the year, and the casino never has a shortage of volunteers either.

The St. Francis Diner has something of an open door policy, and as such anybody who finds themselves in need of a hot meal, no matter what their personal circumstances, are always made welcome and can always rely on their hot meals service.

It is of course at that time of the year when that charity is at their busiest, and many casinos across the U.S. have their own unique charities that they like to help and support at Christmas time.

Take the Aquarius Casino over in Laughlin, they have been running their Feed a Family Christmas promotion each year for several years now, and customers of that casino are able to donate any number of their accumulated players card comp points, and by doing so for each 12,000 points raised a box of holiday food is put together by that casino and given to local families in need.
