It has just been announced that Eureka Casino Resorts are going to become the new owners of the Seabrook Greyhound Park, and they are owners are eager to crack on and make some big changes to their newly acquired gambling venue.

For those of you out there who are unaware, Eureka Casino Resort are a fairly unique company in as much as it is owned by its employees and is based over in Nevada, and as such people working for the company are going to be benefitting directly from that new acquisition.

The Seabrook Greyhound Park is actually a huge venue covering some 75 acres and it is a long established venue too, having first opened its doors to an eager gambling public back in 1973.

Plans have already been revealed to completely remodel the venue and turn it into a destination resort that gamblers will want to visit time and time again.

The purchase price for the venue hasn’t yet been revealed but estimates are it could have changed hands for around $5million, however that is purely speculation.

The remodelling project is likely to be completed by August of this year, however, the new owners are planning on keeping the venue open whilst the remodelling takes place.

It will of course be interesting to see what the new owners do to the venue, for whilst it does boast its own casino, poker room and betting area, they were all beginning to show their age and did look prime areas for a major redevelopment, which they will now get and much sooner rather than later.
