If you are not prepared to spend big bucks updating your gaming machines, table games and often give a casino a major overhaul when it starts to look tired and dated, then often a land based casino will start to become a lesser visited venue for players, and will may look booked for the scrap heap.
Having been a popular choice of casino for players for many years now, it has just been announced that the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa located in Cabazon is finally to get its much needed revamp, for if you have been there recently you will no doubt have notice the casino has been showing its age.
In fact, it is true to say that the casino has always been a popular one with players, despite its tired and dated look, and part and parcel of that revamp will be the extension and increase of the actual gaming floor to allow for hundreds of new slot machines and additional gaming tables too.
It was the owners and operators of that casino who announced this expansion, those being the Morongo Band of Mission Indians, and in addition to increasing the gaming floor area they are also adding a new bar and lounge area too.
The current gaming area is in fact huge, at some 150,000sq.ft, but once that revamp has been completed an additional 65,000sq.ft of floor space will then be added and become available which is going to house approximately 800 new slot machines and several additional new card and table games too.
A second car parking area is also being added to help cope with the expected increase in visitor numbers, and in total an additional 750 car parking spaces will become available once the revamp and remodel has been fully completed.
