There is some very sad news from the world of entertainment, and that is the actor Vinny Vella has passed away at the age of 72.
Best known for his starring roles in films such as “Casino”, “Analyze That”, and the TV series The Sopranos, Vella became a household name in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s.
He had been suffering from liver cancer for quite some time, and it was that disease that sadly he lost his battle with. It was on Wednesday that the news filtered through to his army of fans on his FaceBook page.
For those out there who never got around to viewing the film Casino, then it is certainly one worth watching, much more so if a fan of casino game playing, and even though the film was released back in 1995 it is still a great watch.
It tells the story of Las Vegas when it was ruled by the mob, giving viewers an insight into just how corrupt the casino owners and operators were back in Sin City in the early days.
