Summary

Wolf Sierra slot will not appeal to many slots players as the volatility just isn’t high enough, neither is the max win potential. The base game also needs some added modifiers to keep it more engaging. You can see there is potential there to get some big wins in the free spins bonus if you land the Sticky Wilds early on though.

How it Pays and Plays

Wolf Sierra slot is set on 5 reels with 4 rows and 40 fixed paylines. The RTP is 95.92% which is pretty average for 2020 produced slots, nice to see it not slipping too far away from 96%, which is becoming a worrying trend with some providers.

The volatility is marked as being medium but whilst i tested it with 1000 plus spins it seemed really to be a low volatility slot, spitting out frequent bonuses but not giving many bigger wins.

The max win is 2000x which isn’t exactly jaw dropping, of course, you wouldn’t be too gutted if you did happen to land that in.

There is a Sticky Wilds free spins bonus and very little else in the way of base game modifiers.

Symbols and Graphics

You’ll find that the background is that of a valley with the forested mountains reaching up to either side and some nice looking waterfalls to your left, it’s a bit like a Bob Ross painting, in a vague type of way!

The premium symbols start with a Grey Wolf which gives 25x for 5 of a kind, a Bald Eagle which gives 12.5x for 5 of a kind and Native Indian Totem Pole for 5x if you land 5 of a kind.

Lower paying symbols start from 9’s and go up to Aces. They pay a maximum of 3x.

The Wild symbol is the White Sierra Wolf. This can substitute for any symbol apart from the Scatters. It’s also the highest paying symbol and gives you 50x for a line of 5.

The Scatters are Indian Dream Catchers and you need to land 3 of these on reels 2, 3 and 4 together to get the free spins.

Free Spins Bonus

As stated, the Scatters only land on the middle 3 reels and they will give you 5 free spins initially. You can get extra free spins added by landing Scatter symbols during the bonus, each one you land will give you one extra free spin.

Whenever a Sierra Wolf symbol land it will become a Sticky Wild. So you really want to land a line of them and you’ll need to trigger a few extra free spins to really up the chances of getting enough of them to make for a decent bonus round.
