Microgaming has become famed for their robust gaming platforms, and of course the never ending range of high quality brand new online and mobile slot games they consistently release.
However, whilst Microgaming does employee a huge number of people in their research and development and new game design departments, they have started to outsource the design of some of their recently launched slot games.
Whether or not that is a good or bad thing remains to be seen, but it is true to say that many slot players have been raving about some of their recent slot game releases that have been designed and developed by third party companies, rather than Microgaming’s own in-house team of designers.
One slot that has recently been launched a couple of weeks ago, is the Book of Oz slot game, which was designed from the ground up by Triple Edge Studios, one of many of the third party casino game designers Microgaming have started to use to design some of their new slot games.
That slot, however, is not the first one they have launched on the Microgaming software platform, for they have also recently launched the Wicked Tales: Dark Red slot game too.
What players appear to enjoy about the Book of Oz slot is that it boasts the fairly standard five video reel playing structure, however, it only has a ten pay line playing structure, but it has been built and designed to be a highly volatile slot, so it is possible to win big when playing it, even if playing for modest stake amounts.
That slot went live on Tuesday 11 December, and it would appear that in 2019 there will be a few other slot games going live on Microgaming’s multi-channel software platforms that hail from the design team at Triple Edge Studios.
