Ali Baba’s Luck Megaways has a great base game with its expanding symbols always seeming to provide a good deal of entertainment. The free spins bonus builds on this with the expanding symbols not resetting after each spin. How It Pays and Play
You get 6 reels with up to 5 rows which makes for between 64 and 15,625 paylines when at it’s maximum. It’s a highly volatile slot which has a max payout of over 20,000x but the stakes only go up to 4 coins of whichever currency it is you’re paying in, so it’s perhaps not best suited to the higher rollers. Sound and Graphics
You won’t be disappointed with the look if Ali Baba’s Luck Megaways, as graphically it is a delight and the Arabian style music to accompany the slot goes well.
The game is set on a purple background of Ali Baba’s house where the thieves are hiding in the oil barrels. There are 2 sprawling curtain, one to either side and you can see in the middle where they separate, the clouded sky and what appears to be a balcony rail on either side. The reels are framed in gold and you can see all the symbols sitting atop of the reels ready to be activated when a winning line is formed.
The lower paying symbols are 10 through to Ace playing cards. The premium symbols are, in ascending order, a sapphire ring, a gold and green vase with gold coins next to it, then Morgiana (his friend/servant) and finally, Ali Baba hinself as the top paying symbol, giving you 25x for 6 of a kind.
There are no Wild symbols but there are Scatters. These come in the form of purple and gold treasure chests. Land 3 of them to trigger the free spins bonus round, any more than 3 Scatters and you will get 4 free spins added for each one.
Base Game Expanding Symbols
The base game will see that any time you form a winning combination of any symbol it will then be selected as your special expanding symbol during the next spin.
