Summary
Pirate Gold Deluxe doesn’t quite live up to its “deluxe” tag and the potential max win is less than half of the original. The free spins bonus has also been removed. Most players will be able to buy the bonus feature here though which wasn’t an option previously. Overall, it’s a decent slot but maybe not one which was in need of a makeover.

How it Pays and Plays
There are 5 reels with 4 rows which make for 40 fixed paylines. The default RTP comes in at a decent 96.48% and the max win is marked down as 15,000x, somewhat less than the 32,000x of the original version.
Betting ranges from 0.2 coins up to a maximum of 100 coins, catering to all levels of bankrolls.
Pirate Gold Deluxe is a highly volatile slot with just one bonus round which is the Lucky Treasure Bag. The free spins bonus which was available in the original version is not present.
Sound and Graphics
It’s a good looking slot set on the background of a harbour with some other piratey looking ships bobbing about on the sea and some buildings visible on shore. The orange glow of the sun also cover the landscape whilst some clouds can be seen sailing by. It creates a quite stirring atmosphere and the accompanying soundtrack adds to this with a slight sense of wonder.
The lower paying symbols start from a bronze coin, a silver coin, a hook, a telescope and a treasure map. Higher paying symbols are a pirate ship, a parrot and the top paying symbols are a female pirate and a bearded pirate with an eye patch, they will both pay 12.5x for 5 of a kind.
The Wild symbol is a treasure chest.
Scatter symbols are not present in this version of the slot. Instead you have gold money bag symbols which you need to land a minimum of 8 of to start the Lucky Treasure Bag Feature.
Lucky Treasure Bag Bonus Feature
Get between 8 and 19 of the Gold treasure bags and you get a bonus respins feature game. This will see your original gold treasure bag symbols locked in place, each with a value attached to them. Then on each respin you can land either red, purple, or green treasure bags or a treasure chest.
The purple bags will add the value of all the gold bags together and award players with this amount. It then locks in place
The red bags will total up the value of both the red and gold treasure bags and award players with that value, after which it locks in place.
Green bags will add either a 2x, 3x or 5x multiplier to the bonus when it ends.
Land a treasure chest symbol and it will give you another Lucky Treasure Bag feature bonus when the first one ends.
If you can fill all 20 positions on the reels you’ll win the Grand Jackpot which is a 1000x bonus.
There are also Minor and Major jackpots to be won, which are 50x and 200x respectively. Land in the “minor” or “major” symbols to secure these prizes.
