Bet365 Bags FA Cup Broadcast Rights

Good news for punters that have an account with betting company Bet365, for they are now going to be able to place a bet on any upcoming FA Cup related match, and then watch that match by the online betting platform or the mobile betting app that company has on offer.

That is due to Bet365 having been awarded with broadcast rights by the UK Football Association, and whilst punters are celebrating the news, it has angered many gambling problem charities, as they say that it could force people to gamble and lead to some people gambling more than they can afford.

However, whether that turns out to be correct or not, there is no getting away from the fact that winning those broadcast rights is a major coup for Bet365, and the only requirement to then be able to watch any of the matches being broadcast is to have placed a minimum of a £5 bet on the match they want to watch.

Many bookies now show live footage of both greyhound matches and horse races to customers that have placed a bet with them on any such races, and with more people now betting on football than they do on both horse and greyhound racing combined, it should lead to a surge in new sign-ups for Bet365.

At the end of the day though, being forced to have to place a nominal £5 bet to get to watch any FA Cup match has to be something of a bargain, for with some luck there is always the chance that bet could win, so not only will a punter then have seen the match for free, they will also be receiving a winning pay-out too.
