On the 6th of April at 17:15 in the early evening over at the Aintree racecourse in the UK the starting flag will be waved, signalling the start of the most bet on horse race in the UK racing calendar, that of course being the annual Grand National race.
Many bookies, betting sites and sportsbooks will be hoping it is the outsiders that fill the top spots in that race, for their profits for the year can be massively negatively impacted if the much more fancied horses win and get placed, and if so, they face a pay-out liability running into the many millions of pounds.
