Summary
Crystal Quest: Deep Jungle slot has the potential to be a great slot with its multiplier feature on both the base game and bonus rounds, however, it misses the mark somewhat. The multiplier on the base game wins seemed very difficult to get going and the bonus round was a touch frustrating as I continually missed out on a decent multiplier. The mystery symbols dropped in quite frequently but failed to make a connecting line 90% of the time and left me somewhat annoyed.

How it Pays and Plays
Crystal Quest: Deep Jungle plays out on a 6 reel 4 row grid with 4096 paylines. It uses a cascading wins mechanic along with an increasing multiplier for every new winning combo formed. It’s a high volatility slot with a fairly average payout of 96.14% which is though, considerably higher than some of their recent releases such as Jin Chans Pond of Riches. Bets range from 0.1 to 100 coins, so it’s accessible to big bankroll ballers and low stakes players alike. Crystal Quest revolves around landing the free spins bonus round.
Increasing Multiplier
Once you form a winning combo on any spin you will get a 1x added to any further wins on that same spin. You’ll see that the winning symbols “explode” and new ones drop into place. This is also known as the Avalanche feature. You can see the multiplier to the left of the slots, telling what it is set at during any given time.
Mystery Symbols
During any spin you may see that a group of pink looking mask type symbols drop in. These will all change to reveal the same symbol and hopefully a win. However, it seemed to be pretty consistently dropping them in but missing wins altogether during the 1000 or so spins i played out on it.
Free Spins Bonus
Get 3, 4 or 5 Treasure Chest Scatter symbols and you will get 12, 15 or 18 free spins respectively. These free spins can also be retriggered by getting another two Scatters which gives you an extra 3 spins, you can trigger this an unlimited amount of times.
The free spins round will see the multiplier value stick after each win, unlike in the base game when it resets. This can make for some huge wins if you can rack up the multiplier value quickly but it can also see some seriously dead bonuses if you don’t, which was unfortunately my experience.
Wild symbols which land during the free spins round will also explode and remove all symbols vertical and horizontal to it if that Wild does not manage to form part of a winning combo. This can help you score some extra wins and looks quite cool, especially when you see it first time if you’re not expecting it.
Graphics
Crystal Quest: Deep Jungle looks immediately like a Thunderkick slot. It’s well designed but nothing spectacular. The lower paying symbols are all different coloured gem stones whilst higher paying ones larger and more intricately designed gems. There are also the monkey and the snake symbols as the top payers.
