It will not have escaped anybody’s notice that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are soon to become parents, and many UK based bookies have opened up a betting market on which punters and fans of the Royal Family are going to be able to try and predict the name of the very next Royal Baby.
In fact, most bookmakers up and down the United Kingdom tend to offer all manner of weird and wonderful novelty betting markets on a range of different subjects, but it’s always those that relate to the Royal Family that tend to get the most attention from punters.
As for just where the early money is going on the name of Prince Harry’s and Meghan’s soon to be born child, it would appear that the name Diana is one that punters are latching onto to, for that name is the current 8/1 favourite.
However, as no one outside the Royal Family and the midwife knows the sex of the child it could be the case the baby is a boy, and the name that many punters think will be chosen if the baby is a boy is Arthur which is currently on offer at most betting sites and bookies shops at odds of 17/2.
As for a few other possible names they could call the baby, there has been a small amount of support for names such as Alice at 13/1 and the very royal name of Victoria on offer at odds of 14/1, and a couple of additional boys names that are also available at odds of 14/1 are James and Edward.
For those punters that are convinced it will be a girl then one name that could be chosen is of course Elizabeth, and that name does have some appealing odds attached to it and those odds for reference are 17/1.
