Sportsbook builder and betting services technology company SBTech has announced the rollout of a basketball focused tool designed to enhance the basketball betting experience.
In expanding the reach of its ‘Yourbet Betbuilder’ technology to include basketball markets, SBTech is claiming to have achieved a first in the betting industry. Thus far, the Betbuilder technology has been based around football markets, which represent the most popular betting events with European and international customers, but by expanding it to basketball markets, the company is hoping to spread the appeal of its product both in Europe and the US.
In announcing the development, the Head of Product Innovation at SBTech, Greg Karaolis, said that the basketball expansion would give companies using SBTech products a significant edge:
With no operator having a ‘Betbuilder’ type product for basketball in either Europe or the US, SBTech operators now have a real opportunity to stand out in their markets.”
SBTech, which claims to be the only B2B betting platform provider that uses its own proprietary technology, will make the Yourbet Builder technology available for pre-game and in-play basketball betting, and the product will soon be rolled out for both types of market across its platform
With both the US NBA and European leagues already underway, SBTech is hoping that the rollout is ideally timed to attract maximum interest from basketball customers, who already have the opportunity to bet on a variety of basketball-related markets including player points, assists and rebounds, and will now be able to build their own bet on the game or league of their choice.
