Understanding the Perfect Pairs Blackjack Game Variant

Blackjack players have always been spoiled for choice when it comes to the variants they can play and access online, but those accessing such games for the very first time are going to find the sheer number of Blackjack variants on offer quite confusing for sure.

One game that is often overlooked by players is the Microgaming designed Perfect Pairs Blackjack game, that game is actually based around their European Blackjack game and as such comes with the same player and dealer rules and the same base game payouts and house edge as that other variant.

But, when playing the Perfect Pairs Blackjack game players have the option of placing an additional side bet alongside their base game bet, and by doing so they then have the chance of winning a range of bonus payouts.

Those bonus payouts include a 7 to 1 payout whenever an unmatched pair is dealt out to a player placing that side bet, the other bonus payout is a 15 to 1 payout which is awarded to players being dealt out a pair but that share the same colour.

However, upon being dealt out a perfect pair, that being two cards that are the same value and same suit such as two Jacks of Diamonds players will receive a 30 to 1 bonus bet winning payout.

The base game house edge on Microgaming’s Perfect pairs Blackjack game is 0.42% and the game uses two full decks of 52 playing cards and players are able to double down on any two card initial hand with a value of 9, 10 or 11.
