Heidi Goes Wild Slot

wunderbar

The new Heidi Goes Wild slot is a fresh take on the classic WMS slot Heidi’s Bier Haus. The imagery is all Oktoberfest related, if you don’t know what that is well it’s a German beer festival held in Munich during, you guessed it, October each year. But does this new game match the original in terms of the gameplay and lasting appeal of its predecessor? Is it brewed by the Reinheitsgebot, or is it more of a cheap knock off lager. Read our full review of Heidi Goes Wild slot to see what we thought of the game.

Summary

Heidi Goes Wild has an excellent bonus free spins round with potential to go absolutely bonkers if you can line up those Wild multipliers, even on small stakes the wins could be monstrous. It does remind us of Dead or Alive 2 in this respect and this is sure to get Heidi Goes Wild a fair amount of attention from slot players. However, it does lack a little depth in it’s bonus features but really you’ll be playing it for the free spins round and hoping those Wild multipliers land.

How it Pays and Plays

Heidi Goes Wild is played on 5 reel 3 row setup. The RTP is pretty average at 96% flat.

The maximum payout you can hit is 8,000x which is pretty decent really, certainly not one to tun your nose up at and enough to buy a few rounds even on the lowest of stakes, which is 0.2 coins, whilst the maximum bet is just 20 coins.

It’s not really that suitable for the highest of rollers, but 20 coins in any of the currencies accepted will most likely be stretching the playing balance of all but the bravest/wealthiest slot players (I’ll be sticking with the 20p stakes).

The volatility on Heidi Goes Wild is rated as being high, which you would expect when you see 8,000x as the max payout. As for the hit frequency, this data is unavailable and i wouldn’t even take a guess as to the range but if the information becomes available I’ll be sure to add it in to the review.

Symbols and Graphics

Heidi Goes Wild is set on a background of what looks like a bar made, with drinks to the right hand side and a load of beer barrels to the left with the slot reels sitting on a table.

Symbols of the lower paying variety are the standard playing cards from Ace down to 9’s.

Premium symbols include a variety of Oktoberfest imagery which ranges from a happy looking Bavarian looking man, to pretzels, to alpine hats and even a supremely fancy looking beer keg.

The beautiful buxom Heidi herself holding some beers acts a the Wild, the number of beers she is holding will signify the multiplier value attached to the Wild.

The Scatter symbol is an extremely fancy looking beer stein made of silver, land 3 to trigger the free spins bonus.

Bonus Features

There is one base game modifier which can trigger at random and will see Heidi appear and give you a big win of a minimum of 25x your stake – or she can give you the bonus feature free spins round.

Seeing 3, 4 or 5 Scatter symbols land on any given spin will reward you with 10, 12 or 15 free spins. The Wilds which land during the free spins bonus are all sticky. If you get 2 Wilds on the same reel it will turn them into 2x multipliers and should you get 3 wilds on the same reel then it will see them become 3x multiplier Wilds. Also you will get 2 extra free spins added if you get a Wild on each of the reels. If you are fortunate enough to see that happen it’s likely to pay out for you quite nicely.
