Summary

Temple of Wealth slot takes on a very familiar theme but it does it well. The ability to select the number of free spins and mystery symbols during the bonus round is a nice touch and will let you choose how risky you want to play things, with the lower number of free spins and increased mystery symbols being very tempting to go for. The addition of the progressive jackpots is an added attraction to the game.

Symbols and Graphics

Temple of Wealth is set on the background of a Chinese temple with two big pillars reaching up along either side of the reels. The reels are framed in a gold border and the colours focus around gold and red as is usual for this type of theme, with red being a colour which represents good luck and fortune in China.

The higher paying symbols include a gold coin tassel, a golden ingot, a golden koi carp, a lucky Fu baby and a gold god of wealth who will pay 10x for 5 of a kind.

The lower paying symbols are the playing cards from 10 through to Aces and pay from 0.4x to 0.8x for 5 of a kind.

The music is oriental themed and goes well with the game, fitting the imagery perfectly.

The Wild symbol is a lucky red door and can substitute for any symbol other than the Scatters.

Scatter symbols are Yin Yang signs.

Free spins will also have Mystery symbols added to the reels which are Kylin symbols.

Progressive Jackpots

There is a mini, minor, major and grand jackpot on offer in the Temple of Wealth slot. The opportunity to land these jackpots will come when any of reels 1 to 5 turns gold and a Wild symbol also lands on that golden reel.

After this you will be taken to a screen where you need to pick from various gold coins. They will reveal which jackpot they are associated with. Red symbols are for the Grand jackpot, blue for the major, pink for the minor and green for the mini.

Select 3 of the same symbol and you will be awarded with the corresponding jackpot.

The higher your stake the higher the chance of the progressive jackpot spinning in.

Free Spins Bonus

Land 3, 4 or 5 Scatters for the free spins bonus. Getting more than 3 Scatters won’t give extra free spins but you will get 5x, 10x and 50x respectively for them.

You can choose between 5 options which are as follows:

  • 20 free spins with 8 mystery symbols
  • 15 free spins with 18 mystery symbols
  • 12 free spins with 28 mystery symbols
  • 10 free spins with 38 mystery symbols
  • 8 free spins with 48 mystery symbols
  • Mystery choice (one of the above will be randomly selected for you)

The mystery symbols here are the important thing and the more you have the higher the chance of winning big. On each spin the mystery symbols will land they will all turn to the same symbol. They will also expand one row with every subsequent spin until they fill a whole reel, after which they will disappear.
