Beast of Wealth slot is beautifully designed. The free spins bonus with its various options to allow players to choose their level of risk tolerance in going. after the bigger wins, which always adds a little feeling of control over the game which is appreciated. The base game can be a touch bland but the possibility of the progressive jackpot spinning in at any time helps keep things fresh as do the stunning visuals.

Symbols and Graphics

Temple of Wealth has a classic and somewhat classy look to it, thanks to the superb visuals on display it really does look very pleasing to the eye. The reels are set in a traditional Chinese building with lanterns hanging to each side. In the background are some misty, mystic looking mountains with trees and some undergrowth on them.

The soundtrack to accompany Beast of Wealth gameplay is well put together too, fitting very nicely with the overall theme of the slot and helping to add to the immersion.

The lower paying symbols go from 9’s through to Aces, paying a maximum of 1x for 5 of a kind of Aces and just 0.4x for 5 of a kind 9’s and 10’s.

Premium symbols are a tortoise, a Phoenix, a tiger and a dragon as the top paying symbol which will give you 10x for 5 of a kind. They are designed in a mask style as opposed to accurate depictions of what each would look like.

Wild symbols are a gong, which will make a gong like noise every time it lands, which can get a bit tiresome if nothing is hitting. It will substitute for all other symbols except for the Scatters.

The Scatter is a Ying Yang symbol.

Progressive Jackpot

On all the reels at any time during any base game spin they can turn gold. If they do so and a Wild symbol lands on any gold reel then you will be taken to the progressive jackpot pick and win type game.

Here you will see a selection of coins, you choose whichever ones you want and they will reveal their value, get 3 of the same symbol and you will be awarded the corresponding jackpot. The Dragon symbol represents the Grand jackpot, the tiger is the major, the Phoenix the minor and the tortoise is the mini.

Free Spins Bonus

Land 3, 4 or 5 Scatter symbol and the free spins will be triggered, you’ll also get 5x, 10x or 50x awarded. 8 free spins are given initially and they can be retriggered by landing 3 or more Scatter symbols.

You will be given a choice in the free spins bonus. You can decide which premium symbol will appear, the one you decide on will be the only premium symbol which shows on the free spins bonus. The higher the value of the symbol chosen the less of them which will be added to the reels. The choices are as follows:

  • Dragon = 88 symbols placed on the reels
  • Tiger = 98 symbols placed on the reels
  • Phoenix = 108 symbols placed on the reels
  • Tortoise = 118 symbols placed on the reels

There’s also a mystery choice which will select one of the above for you randomly.
